The accepted and operational ready package is now deployed. This final phase focuses on rolling out the solution. Further training of end users, support, and operations staff is done. At the end of this phase a lesson learnt is done inorder to improve future perfromance.

Phase starts when the deployment package is operationally approved

• to deploy the solution
• to train the users
• to provide warranty cover

Main deliverables of the phase are:

• Lessons Learnt

Work products that may be used during the phase include:

• Roll out plans
• Backout plans
• Project Management Documents

The phase ends when the solution is fully deployed and warranty period is complete.

The following quality management activities need to be performed:

• Peer inspection of any deliverables (E.g. Fagan inspection method )
• Lessons Learnt review
• Phase end checklist
